Boston Pizza, an iconic restaurant brand specializing in American-style pizzas, needed to refresh its visual identity to connect with a young, urban, and digital audience, without losing the authenticity and down-to-earth spirit that had always defined it. The goal was to create a powerful, easily recognizable brand adaptable to multiple media, from packaging to digital environments, without abandoning its graphic DNA and informal tone.
The work began with a carefully designed mood board that allowed us to flesh out the brand's visual universe. This universe was inspired by the language of American comics , pop art , vintage posters , sports graphics , and the aesthetics of classic fast food . This mix gave us the keys to creating a dynamic, expressive, and highly memorable identity.
Boston Pizza's new identity functions as a recognizable, versatile visual universe, easily applicable across all consumer touchpoints: from packaging and staff uniforms to website design, social media, and the physical restaurant. The new branding reflects a relaxed, powerful, and popular brand with a strong graphic personality that allows it to compete in a saturated market with its own unique voice.
